There is no advertising within Orthopaedic Proceedings, but The Bone & Joint Journal (BJJ) accepts advertising from commercial manufacturers, publishers, courses and fellowship organisers and recruitment specialists.
A full range of print and online advertising opportunities are available in the print version and companion website of BJJ. Full details can be found in our media kit which is available on request. ADmedica will be pleased to provide you with our current media kit and assist you with your advertising requirements and details of sponsorship opportunities.
Advertising and Editorial departments operate separately with regard to procurement and placement of advertising. Commercial advertising or sponsorship does not influence editorial decisions. For ethical reasons print advertising is not allowed next to published papers and is run in a section at the front of the journal. Commercial advertorials are accepted on a limited basis but these are also run in a section separated from editorial text (or scientific papers) and they are clearly branded with the aim of complete transparency. Adverts online are generally displayed on all pages and are rotated at random. Advertisers can request to appear on specific pages on www.boneandjoint.org.uk, but on The Bone & Joint Journal core content pages these are random and are not linked to content or reader behaviour.
